World Book Day!

On Thursday 2nd March, Redhill Primary School celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as book characters. Everyone had a really enjoyable day as both staff and children dressed up. We had children dressing up as Horrid Henry, Where’s Wally, Matilda, Batman, The Gruffalo, Little Red Riding Hood, the list is endless. It was so lovely to see so many children making the effort. Thank you very much for all your support. World Book Day is about promoting the enjoyment reading brings and encouraging children to read a range of material from books, to comics or magazines as well as eBooks. All children have received a £1 book token for them to use towards purchasing a new book or purchasing one of the special World Book Day books.

Well done to all the children who looked wonderful in their costumes and once again a big thank you to you parents for your support in providing costumes for your children.
